Couponing On the Rise


As more and more consumers struggle with debt, lost income and troubled mortgages, couponing has re-emerged as lost art. With the advent of electronic and printable coupons, younger couponers are on the rise. Once primarily restricted to the older population, coupons are now used by young, old and in between.

The recession and shaky economy has reopened the thrifty mindset for many Americans. Shopping the sales with coupons seems to be the best way to reap savings. According to one source, this is the first time coupon use has risen since 1992!
